ASSESSMENT

The course is assessed by a portfolio of evidence containing: Case studies, Experiences captured as part of your placement, Observations, Details of activities undertaken with young people

COURSE DATES

This is a distance-learning course that can be completed in the learner’s own time. The course must be completed within 12 months of the start date. Assignments will be sent through via e-mail when they are to be completed and returned to the course tutor for assessment. You will receive timely feedback in order to improve your work should you need to. After the successful completion of the course learners will receive their nationally recognised certificate.

Support assessment for learning

This unit will provide the knowledge of the characteristics of assessment for learning and allow learners the opportunity to use assessment strategies to promote learning.

This unit also enables learners to support children in reviewing their learning strategies and achievements.
